April Sustainability Grant Awarded to BTF Net Zero Designs

BTF Net Zero Designs

Woman Entrepreneur:
Gwen St. Sauveuer

Congratulations to our $10,000 Business Specific Grant winner for the month of April:

Gwen St. Sauveuer, the founder of BTF Net Zero Designs, has won the Sustainability grant.  Her company creates designs for affordable net-zero homes!

Here is some of what Gwen shared with us:

When most people think of a Net Zero home, they imagine a modern, unique architectural design, with high end materials all designed for the building site specifically. This style of Net Zero construction is expensive for the builder & the homeowner…I believe BTF is the first in the country to offer stock plans that make net zero homes FINALLY fast, easy and affordable to build!…  Now builders, even those new to energy efficient building, can follow a BTF home plan and have a fossil fuel free, net zero home. Each BTF plan includes the architectural drawings, mechanical drawings, HVAC & energy analysis and solar PV analysis for construction on nearly any site in 35 states. No longer do builders need to hire these firms for site-specific design to build a net zero home! BTF plans were designed using standard building materials and practices builders are comfortable with too.
