Your privacy matters to us.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
1. What We Collect
We do NOT collect your name, email, phone number, or address unless you voluntarily share it — for example, by submitting an application or contacting us directly. We also do not collect demographic information, such as your age or gender, unless you provide it.
We DO automatically collect basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We do so to help improve your experience on our site.
2. How We Use Your Info
We use any information you share with us to:
- Announce or update improvements to our WomensNet Resource Center
- Judge your application, in the event you apply
- Communicate with you about grant winners or deadlines
- Collect feedback through surveys
- Improve our site and user experience
We NEVER sell or rent any of your personal information, including your name, email address, or other identifying information.
We work with trusted partners to help us send email, support users, or analyze site traffic. These partners can only use your information for those tasks and must keep it confidential.
We may also share your info — but only if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or legal obligations.
3. Cookies
We use cookies (small text files stored on your device) to improve your visit — for example, by remembering your preferences or helping pages load faster.
You can turn off cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
4. Payment Information
We do NOT store your credit card information anywhere on the site or in our records. All transactions are securely processed through a third-party vendor, and we never see your card number. We only have access to the last four digits of your card, in case of need to research your transaction.
5. Policy Updates
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Please check back periodically to stay informed.
6. Social Media
If you follow or interact with us on social media, please know that we do not share your information.
However, we urge caution: Scammers sometimes monitor our social media to impersonate us. Be wary of unsolicited messages or offers claiming to be from Amber Grants for Women, WomensNet, or any similar-sounding organization. We will never reach out and ask you for money to release a grant you’ve won. If something seems suspicious, do NOT engage — and please report it to us directly.
7. Contact Us
If you follow or interact with us on social media, please know that we do not share your information.
If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy, please email us at info@ambergrantsforwomen.com. We’ll do our best to help.
