November 2021 “Skincare & Wellness” Business Category Grant Awarded to Yulin Jade

Jade Mazarin, founder of YulinJade, began her pure and organic skin care line with her mother. They wanted to create a line that was beneficial for women and for the Earth.

Here is a little bit of what Jade shared with us in her application. We hope you’re inspired by her thoughts:

“Our inspiration came from my own health journey. I was dealing with severe chronic fatigue that doctors couldn’t help me with. I did a ton of research, fell in love with the natural health world, and found improvement for the first time. I then entered school to become a Natural Health Consultant. I had already been a mental health and Christian counselor for many years, but now added health consulting so I could help people’s entire selves. Using super foods and replacing my products with truly clean ones, are the first things I did that brought improvement… I never expected to become a business partner with my mother, but she fell in love with natural health when she saw how it benefited me. And of course we both knew we wanted to help women… To replace their potentially problematic skincare lines with ones that were truly organic. And clinically effective – with natural extracts that people are getting more and more excited about. We wanted to bring packaging, practices, and every chain of development under a sustainable model, so we can protect the Earth from products that aren’t.”

Reminder that the category of the $5,000 Business Specific Grant in December is “Fashion Designers”. If you applied for an Amber Grant in 2021 and your business is related to fashion design, you’re eligible to win the $5,000. If you’re going to apply in November, you’re eligible to win both the $10,000 Amber Grant as well as the $5,000 Business Specific Grant.
