Sept. 2021 “Education & Childcare” Business Specific Grant Awarded to Academics Unlimited

Congratulations to Tracy Lewis, Founder of Academics Unlimited for being the WomensNet $5,000 September Business Specific Grant recipient in the category of “Education and Childcare”.

Academics Unlimited, LLC is a tutoring program that provides academic support for students  by offering online instructional programs, homework assistance, test preparation, student mentoring, and mathematics related enrichment activities. Lewis said, “My goal for AU is to bring superior service to students in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas. This service will incorporate the use of technology, educational best practices, and instruction from highly qualified educators.”

WomensNet Business Specific Grant will help Academics Unlimited continue to make access to their learning center easier and more convenient for families.

Reminder that the category of the $5,000 Business Specific Grant in October is “Creative Arts”. If you applied for an Amber Grant in 2021 and your business is related to creative arts, you’re eligible to win the $5,000. If you’re going to apply in October, you’re eligible to win both the $10,000 Amber Grant as well as the $5,000 Business Specific Grant.
