WomensNet Mini Grant Awarded to Miracles in Motion

Miracles in Motion

Woman Entrepreneur:
Kim Moncrief

Congratulations to Kim Moncrief, Founder and CEO of Miracles in Motion for being the WomensNet Mini Grant recipient.

Moncrief describes her company saying, “Miracles in Motion, Inc. is a dance studio specifically designed to empower the special needs community. We provide a life-long opportunity for the special needs community to grow in their education and abilities in the ways of the arts, life skills, self-care, speech, fine and gross motor skills, physical condition, self-confidence and social abilities.”

The WomensNet Mini Grant would help Miracles in Motion with financial support. It would help with general costs for the upcoming re-opening of in person classes at the studio and would help fund their tuition assistance program; which helps support the families as they endure increasing costs for the student’s needed medical treatments and therapies.

Moncrief adds, “We love our dancers and know how important MIM is to our dance families and our community. Therefore, we will do whatever it takes for as long as we possibly can to ensure that our studio is able to continue. Your grant would ensure that we could continue to provide the quality of service to the special needs community that they so deserve and need now more than ever.”

Applications are currently being reviewed for the $10,000 Amber Grant. You can apply today to be considered.
