Congratulations to Lisa McBride, Founder of WNC Farm to Table for being the WomensNet Mini Grant recipient.

McBride explains WNC Farm to Table as, “a developing local food online ordering system and food hub for Jackson County, NC.” She adds, “WNC Farm to Table is working to be a viable channel for increasing farmers’ and producers’ incomes, plus providing more opportunity for all consumers to be able to easily consume local food products.”

Winning the WomensNet Mini Grant will help McBride put funds towards the operating costs of her business, including subscription fees for websites, advertising, travel, costs of goods sold, and more.
