May 2022 Mental Support Category Grant Winner Awarded to Wellspace Maine

Wellspace Maine

Woman Entrepreneur:
Erika Pausman and Lindy Graham

Congratulations to Erika Pausman and Lindy Graham, Co-Founders of Wellspace Maine for being the WomensNet $10,000 May Business Specific Grant recipient in the category of “Mental and Emotional Support.”

Here is a little bit of what Erika and Lindy shared with us in their application. We hope you’re inspired by what they’re doing in their area:

Erika told us, “WellSpace@Work is the only company in Maine offering employers a therapist access program. Behavioral healthcare needs are at an all-time high, leaving employers and employees struggling to find in-network clinicians despite high monthly premiums. We are disrupting the antiquated EAP and Managed Care models by making ACCESS to quality care the premium that employers are prioritizing for their employees’ wellbeing.”

As for using the grant money, they noted: We are in a position to take this company to the next level; that requires us to have professional services in place that we lack. The grant will allow us to take bold steps quickly, which is essential during this extraordinary time in history.

Reminder that the category of the $10,000 Business Specific Grant in June is “Biz Support”. If you applied for an Amber Grant in 2022 and your business is related to business support, you’re eligible to win the $10,000. If you’re going to apply in June, you’re eligible to win both the $10,000 Amber Grant as well as the $10,000 Business Specific Grant.
