Abigael Snyder

Congratulations to Abigael Snyder, Founder of Pottery by Abigael for being the WomensNet $5,000 October Business Specific Grant recipient in the category of “Creative Arts.”

As a child, Abigael first fell in love with performing arts before finding her true passion as a ceramic artist. Her relationship with the performing arts became strained as the years passed and that lead her to a new hobby; remodeling a camper van. It was though this hobby she found her love and passion for ceramic art.

“I was connected to an incredible ceramics studio where I found that the same energy I had towards building my van was alive in my relationship with clay. I found myself spending nearly all of my time at the studio practicing pottery techniques. Since then, my love and commitments to clay has only grown stronger,” explains, Abigael.

With the WomensNet Business Specific Grant, Abigael will use the funds to open a new, independent studio where she can create more art, hold workshops for her community and let her business grow.

Reminder that the category of the $5,000 Business Specific Grant in November is “Skin Care”. If you applied for an Amber Grant in 2021 and your business is related to skin care, you’re eligible to win the $5,000. If you’re going to apply in November, you’re eligible to win both the $10,000 Amber Grant as well as the $5,000 Business Specific Grant.
