WomensNet Mini grant awarded to The A. to Z. SLP

The A. to Z. SLP

Woman Entrepreneur:

“I have worked in nearly all areas of care for more than a decade in the field of speech language pathology. In my time as a practicing speech pathologist (SLP) the biggest and most frustrating obstacle to overcome is getting SLP services to underserved people: those who do not have insurance (or have limited insurance coverage), those who do not have transportation, and those who have families that do not understand their communication needs. Because of this I started my private practice in September of 2021, The A. to Z. SLP.”

Among some of the things Angela needs – acquiring tools to help with evaluation and diagnostics for speech language pathology is how she plans to use her mini-grant.
